# Alphanet changelog

## Unreleased — canonical program addresses

This entry describes the planned Alphanet reset, not a completed deployment. The release date and matching CLI/SDK versions have not been announced. Use these addresses only with the corresponding network release.

### What changes

Managed programs use stable addresses derived from permanent seeds. Genesis installs an immutable root Manager, an upgradeable main Manager, EOA, Uploader, Compression, Token, Wrapped THRU, Consensus Validator and Block Producer. Bootstrap installs the remaining application programs and publishes ABIs after the network starts. System is test-only and is not installed by production genesis or bootstrap.

These are executable addresses, not program metadata, mint or token-account addresses. The canonical Wrapped THRU mint for this release is `taaoXQw03WlYWdo1jhfFi2Nqfqsf4RqYySn_89mchjCiLb`.

### Update your integration

- Upgrade your CLI and SDK alongside the network release. Prefer the matching SDK’s program constants over hardcoded addresses.
- Replace old program addresses in saved CLI settings and application configuration. Updating the CLI does not overwrite existing saved addresses.
- Recalculate program-derived account addresses when their owning program changes. Do not assume old mint, vault or token-account addresses still apply.
- Use the new EOA program as the wallet account owner. Address zero remains unowned; wallet public keys and EOA signing-message formats do not change.
- Fetch program ABIs through the new ABI Manager for the corresponding release.
- Treat application mint setup separately: installing the Token program does not create wallet test-dollar mints or migrate balances.

This change does not promise migration of existing Alphanet state or announce any change to Betanet.
